2009 Municipal and Chapel Hill/Carrboro School Board Election Schedule
Election Day is November 3rd
Important Dates
October 2 – Ballots available for Absentee Voting by Mail.
October 9 -Voter Registration Deadline. Postmarked or in Elections office.
October 15 – One Stop (Early) Voting Begins. Citizens may register and vote during the one-stop period if they failed to register before the October 9th deadline.
October 27 – Requests for By-Mail Absentee Voting ends.
Note: Requests must be in writing and in Elections office by October 27th.
October 31 – One Stop (Early) Voting Ends at 1:00 p.m.
November 3 – Election Day
November 10 – Official County Canvass.
November 16 – Certificates of Election Issued by County Board of Election.
